Reference Broodmares & Stallions not with us anymore

With foals born every year, some horses also pass away. Be this for old age, accidents, or other natural causes. At least we can be sure that they lived their lives as a horse should - on pasture in their natural environment with other equines for company.

Watch for Friday -  2001 AQHA bay mare
This mare with Zan Parr Bar, Tyress Watch and Poco Bueno Image on her papers had great foals for us. We kep quite a few of her offspring in our brood mare band, and the ones we sold became gentle saddle horses.

Watch For Friday passed away in July 2017 due to a rattle snake bite. She left an orphaned filly behind that, luckily, was adopted by her best buddy Gold Lacy Poco.

Amanda Madoc  -   1995 sorrel AQHA mare
Amanda is one of our ranch horses we used hard for many years. She is fast, quick, and athletic, yet has a very fine handle on her.
She didn''t look her age (>20 years old) and had many years as a brood mare left to pass on her great work ethic.
Paired with our heavily cutting bred stallions her babies were promising prospects for ranch and arena.

Amanda was euthanized in March 2017 due to an injury.

Miss Smart And Tari  -  2000 chestnut AQHA mare
Miss Smart And Tari had some cutting training. She is a granddaughter of Peppy San Badger, with Smart Little Lena, Peppy San and Mr San Peppy twice on her papers.
We kept two of her daughters, extremely catty and quick fillies.

Miss Smart And Tari broke her hind leg in May 2016 and we had to euthanize her in July 2016 because despite all efforts to cast the leg the inflamation did not leave her body.
